This is a great opportunity for an alumni (you have to hold a BFA) if you are interested in Science and Animation:
This is a yearlong program for animators wishing to explore the intersection of animation, motion graphics and science. You will work in NASA’s Conceptual Image Lab with an outstanding team of animators, data visualizers, video producers, and science writers as you create animation and graphics for some of NASA’s most exciting science missions : mind bending results from the Hubble Space Telescope, the inner workings of a hurricane, racing rivers of plasma beneath the surface of the Sun, audacious new concepts to sample the atmosphere of Venus, and extrasolar planets with clouds made of rubies and sapphires.
